Whale Wars is an epic series for Animal Planet that follows the notorious environmental group, Sea Shepherd on their mission to Antarctica and their attempts to disrupt and end the killing of whales by the Japanese whaling fleet. I was the DP for this insane 13-part series which took two voyages across the Southern Ocean and nearly 100 punishing days at sea. Our team was nominated for a Primetime Emmy, and has helped to end the practice of whaling.
